Be Still Float Wellness Center is seeking a part-time float facilitator to discover mastery of Floatation Therapy and Sensory Deprivation. You will assist in the day-to-day operations of a Float Wellness Center, including routine customer care and center management tasks such as checking clients in, answering phones, booking appointments, cleaning, managing & recording water chemistry and tidying/restocking rooms between floats.

Must be proactive, adaptable and calm, as you will be working with a diverse clientele who expect a premium level of service.

The position will also include excellent conversation with customers and our staff of float facilitators and healing arts practitioners about the fascinating world of consciousness, meditation, zero gravity, health and wellness, neuroscience, and all things relating to sensory deprivation. It is ideal for a student with a flexible schedule, and, while there is much to do in running a float center, at times allows for some degree of personal free time between floats to work on your own projects and studies. Be Still Float Wellness Center is a very relaxing environment; this is key, as our entire business is based on relaxation and health. We create a brief refuge from our clients’ daily stresses. We are therefore seeking an individual who, while being efficient and productive, exudes relaxation and health. It’s a unique mix!

No specific prior qualification is required, though good customer/client service experience is useful. We are looking for people who are reliable and professional, friendly, articulate, easy going, and willing to work hard. You should also have a hunger for learning about floating and sensory deprivation. Some level of exercise is required. You must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Lastly, and certainly not least, employment at Be Still Float Wellness Center offers access to our facilities, including float tanks and other services. This itself has a value of hundreds of dollars per month.
